I would just go ahead and crank the bolts down. I think the gap is probably just a function of how your suspension has been "tweaked" over the years. When I put in my h-brace, I put in the Ingalls control arms at the same time and it was kind of a pain because the control arm mounting points...
It should just pry out w/a small flat-tip screwdriver. There's more than one component involved but none of it is glued. It's all aligned w/plastic tabs.
Yep, they're "challenging" to get apart and cleaned up. Heat works well to get them apart although it took me a while to try that method and much cursing and sweating preceded that discovery. And yes, I'm using the install kit (or will be when I get around to installing the control arms).
A couple of my stamped steel rear control arms are bent and I recently grabbed some adjustable ones from a GM. What I need to know is what the nominal measurement is from center-to-center of the mount points for these control arms. I don't have adjustable strut plates so any of you out there who...
I installed the Bosch wires over the weekend (along w/valve cover and intake gaskets, serpentine belt & plugs). The lengths are a bit strange but nothing was too short and they seem to fit in the plug wells and onto the coil just fine. I've had no problems so far. :thumb:
