I searched, but couldn't find any posts to help me. Anyway, it takes about 10 seconds or so for the sho to start. It sounds like it wants to start. After it starts I can smell fuel from the exhaust....almost like leaky injectors. Also, the CEL comes on and I have to keep my foot on the gas...
Thanks alot guys for the help. It only takes about 10 mins max to take the old one out and put another one in! I got my ignition lock cylinder from a mercury cougar at the junkyard for $5. Thanks again.

I guess I need a lock cylinder. I was going to replace the whole thing, but from what I can understand of what you said I can just replace the mechanical part you call the lock cylinder. I didn't know that you could replace just the part the key goes in. I know nothing about stuff like this...
