Pistons

No one has been able to answer this is it cause no one knows or is it just something you all try and avoid (nothing is more powerful than c.i.) Im wanting to locate oversized pistons for the 3.0 sho motor (yamaha) but no one is of any help i searched all my nooks and crannys cant find any how...

Looking for internal engine components

So in other words pull the damn motor dont worry bout rebuiling it replace the seals and 10k later pull it again to rebuild it. it has had a hard life for 9 yrs it was drove very hard 180 miles a day at approx 130mph both ways. Its tired but still powerful. will break the tires loose at a 30...

The thing is it may not need rebuilt but its something i want to do. I just want to make sure thing are going to be available if they are needed.yes the gaskets and seals need replaced. heck i stop at a light and damn i smell oil and see it to from the smoke out from under the hood. I am also...

Looking for internal engine components

92 sho 197,000miles running great but time for rebuild. Have talked with several machine shops and they show no pistons, rods etc.... in any of there parts books for this engine. Is there anyone that can help just in case the motor needs to be bored etc... and gasket kits for the 3.0 dohc motor...
