drivers door lock mechinism
Ok, let me try to explain this better. I didn't think I'd done a very good job. This is on a gen I sho. With the door open, under the door lock,down low,next to the storage bin, there is a round flush "nut" with a pin in the center, almost looks like a rivet. Its about 1/2" diameter. drivers door lock mechinism
When I use the keyless pad all the doors unlock except the drivers door (of course). It appears that the "nut?" at the bottom of the door that appears to hold part of the mechinism in place is gone. I'm looking for some input on fixing this before I take it all apart. Anyone else dealt with this...- 19bobsho91

Thanks. Nice catch. I read that thread when it first came out and I didn't catch that. I was thinking Gen I/Gen II as opposed to pre-94.- 19bobsho91

Whose selling the kits for a gen I to '96 upgrade? I've seen the gen II to '96...but apparently missed the others. I'd at least like to go price them. thanks.- 19bobsho91

DOORS HELP
I believe that they will fit....but isn't the wiring, windows/locks, etc. different?..and a bit of a bear to swap out? I'm shooting from the hip on that one, but I thought thats what I found out somewhere along the line. Anyone else out there have any info? Bob- 19bobsho91

Need new tires
I've been running the dunlop 5000's for a year and I'm happy with them. They did fine by me last winter up here, time will tell how the fare this year with less tread. Good luck.- 19bobsho91

Opinions Wanted - Racing Stripes
:D ok...I'm laughing while I type this...but just a thought....since your going with some shade of gray, how about before you do your paint prep work you break out the tried and true roll of gray duct tape and see what you come up with. All hail duct tape!- 19bobsho91

Tires (Cooper v. Dunlop)
For what its worth I've had the Dunlop 5000's for about a year (winter/summer) and I've liked them. I'd get them again and they're not real expensive....not for nothing but Tirerack still had them I believe a few weeks ago. Good luck.- 19bobsho91
