I guess we want to be family friendly, but the new software is censoring words needlessly that makes threads a bit harder to follow. Is there an option under user settings to turn off the language filter? I did not see one.

What was edited in second example?
The second example has several words that are edited out as individual words and taken out of context. Examples from the thread are - "t.r.a.n.n.y", "b.a.n.g" second gear, "h.a.r.d. - o.n." TOBs., etc... All normal terms when addressing the topic of the thread.

I already had to have @Shaggy remove the censorship of "Meth" for the gen4 guys.

Chad, is there a master switch to take the editing off of everything? This is silly
I really don't know how it works. I don't have the abilities to look into stuff like this.

Another one that is in the post above is "s.l.a.v.e." cylinder.

I see now. I read the first post 3 times looking for any edited items, thought maybe my view was different than others. Interesting.

The "upgrade" has also broken every image link that was previously part of a post.

When is this censorship going to be fixed? Does someone not have the ability to go into the database and edit where the words are stored by xenforo?

The software has permanently mangled every previous posting using car-related terms like suck, blow, screw, knob, bang, ******... These are not words that will reduce your standing in search results. This is not a forum of wild extremism needing moderation.

"At Beaver Falls tonight, don't screw with the knob that adjusts the suck force, or the tranny will bang into 2nd until it will blow":
At ****** Falls tonight, don't ***** with the **** that adjusts the **** force, or the ****** will go **** **** until it ****

Edit: Add another preposterous word: "leak" = leak ... Or was it "flow" = flow - who knows what I wrote. Another word that I used to describe stud bolt installation is now censored, and who knows what I actually wrote there...

At today's day and age this is not a 4m that many young or family friendly needs are a big issue. Unleash the sensor ship!

What kind of ******** car forum doesn't allow you to say ***** or ******?

It's tyranny, which, incidentally, is what my phone tried to autocorrect ****** into.
