Hey guys hope all is well. Myself personally and several other customers are experiencing zero issues with braking noise while using the less aggressive wilwood street and track bp10 pads instead of the bp20 pads. A member that is using the bp20 pads is having a lot of undesirable braking noise and has just made me aware of it. The bp10 brake pad part number is "150-8854K" should you decide to swap pads out. I wanted you to be aware so that you were 100% satisfied with your kit and were able to enjoy it without any noises or issues. Thanks!

    Hello guys,

To all that have purchased this kit, I have become aware of a quality issue in the 3/8-24 threads on the bracket which attach the wilwood caliper to the bracket. The machine shop must have used a dull tap when cutting these threads and to avoid getting a capscrew stuck in the bracket during assembly, please do the following:

Option 1 - Run the provided capscrews into the bracket by hand/ratchet, being careful not to extend the capscrew past where the bracket threads end, prior to the actual assembly of the kit several times by hand cleaning off the the threads and blowing off any fine metal shavings that could be left in the bracket and capscrew. Once this has been completed several times, then proceed with the actual assembly.

Option 2 - Purchase a 3/8-24 tap capable of cutting aluminum and carefully tap by hand the threads shown in the locations below, cleaning off the the threads and blowing off any fine metal shavings that could be left in the bracket. (Send a snapshot of your receipt for the tap and I will refund that amount back to your PayPal)

I apologize for this added inconvenience, but i want to remedy this issue before any damage occurs. please reach out if you have any additional questions.

    Thanks!

That's great that you're fixing the problem and paying for the tools to fix the problem. Now that's what I call great customer service!

For those who have purchased this kit what size/offset wheels do you run?

Flowers don't fit with this kit. :(
