Fogs and ambers always on.
Could do just one or the other. I did both.

You should buy the actual DRLs for the lower front bumper that I think you're referring to as fogs. From Drivebright - when turn signal activated they flash amber. Cool as ****, I love them. There's also a set with sequential style turn signal, but those are pricey.

Agreed, the switchback on the drivebrights is cool. I've considered them.

I tinted my fog (lower front bumper) lights amber to match the turn signals.

I would like to get (or make) turn signal lights for the fender vents.

I like the look of the Ford Raptors with dark amber lights on the front and wanted something similar.

I guess this is about the hundredth time this exact post has been made...

Turned off the beep beep, and I'm thrilled.
Turned on the AWD gauge, and I don't really care beyond "oh, that's neat"

My forscan asked for the ecm number/ tune name. I entered names/numbers from SCT-BDX until it accepted it(whatever the name/number was) and changed what I wanted. Worked fine.
My change was to see text messages and use navigation while driving :) It did remove Sirius travel ink (but I don't use that)

Suppose I want to turn on nav + text while moving, but NOT remove Sirius.

Is this possible?

It just removed the travel link, not the sirius app. Travel link is just to find locations through sirius I believe, but I never used it. I do have sirius/xm radio and it works fine

I somehow ruined something with Forscan. You know when you're on the different display screens, you're supposed to have the vertical RPM meter next to the fuel meter? I don't have that anymore.

I've turned off the beep-beep, turned on the awd gauge, and a couple other small things I can't remember

Does anybody know what setting I broke?

I broke my heated and cooled seats with forscan and have tried restoring from ASB from Ford to no avail. It thinks my seats only have 2 levels, and doesn't trigger the seats at all. So if someone could help me with that too, there's $20 in it for you

Regarding the heated/cooled seats. When you apply changes in forscan, they dont always show immediately. I had to shut the car down all the way and wait for headunit to shut off. Then restart.

Back in the day I wrote a tool called AsBuiltExplorer for comparing asbuilt files from different cars.

Remember to always make a backup.

I think you can still download your original asbuilt data from Ford with your vin.

This definitely. Always create a "rollback" file.

And yes, you can re-download it from Ford using your VIN.

You might just need to go back into the Display Settings and re-activate the RPM and Fuel screen. Mine has an option to display just fuel or to display fuel AND rpm, so it's possible when you updated the screen it reverted back to defaults.

The exact path on the left hand dash menu is:

Settings > Display Settings > Gauge Display > Fuel | Fuel + Tach

Thanks again.

So for mine, I have tried to restore the asb data from the VIN, but it says it has a data length mismatch. I can't seem to get the heated and cooled seats to work again. Does anyone know the exact data address and value for heated and cooled seats?

It's only allowing me to select 2 levels for both heat and cooling and it doesn't activate the seats even on those levels. I'm guessing I either put a value that makes it think I have a different model of car or a different trim package, not sure.

Whoever gets my seats working is getting an Amazon gift card. Winter is coming up and the heated seats are awesome.
