right now im running the 18in police rims with Toyo tire 245/55 ZR 18 103 W when cornering i feel like the tire wants to slip off would a higher side wall be better? running correct air pressure in all tires.

A higher side wall is the exact opposite of what you want if it feels like tire wants to slip off. IMHO these cars were not made and meant to have 18 inch, tall sidewall tires. And the feeling you're experiencing is exactly why. I see you're in Florida - what's the reason for police, 18" wheels?

Your feeling is exactly normal. Lots of sidewall felt on the 18s. I'm running the same wheels with blizzaks. It's a nice cushy ride for the winter.

The 20in flowers have a lot more road feel and less flex
