Just checking to see what everyone is seeing for trans temps on long high runs?
I tend to see 205 degrees.

On a 3 hour drive I’ve seen it just under 200. The most it’s ever been was 205 with multiple hot laps at NED. 2010 with the PP trans cooler. Shorter drives and data log fun it’s usually 140-180 after it’s been warmed up.

I have a front mounted Derale. In 115 degree heat I see around 200 on the freeway. Since it is in the 80's now, I see low 180's now.

With the stock PP trans cooler, I was seeing 215 to 220 in the heat, and around 200 in 80's. I cant imagine what those numbers would have been like without a trans cooler.

Last year we used my wife's non-turbo flex, fully loaded with kids/dog/gear etc., to pull a 24ft pontoon a little over 300 miles. I watched trans temp like a hawk the whole time and IIRC it ran 205°-210° with the cruise set at 65 mph. I would let off going up the steeper hills to keep it below 215° because the temp would climb rapidly. It ran pretty much identical 205°-210° on the way home without the boat or trailer.
I don't think I've ever seen my SHO's transmission get past the 180's

I finally looked today. After about 6 hours of driving the trans temp was around 190. Outside temp was about 70 and I was going 70-75 mph.
