So I found a Medium Prairie Tan interior'd Continental at the pick 'n pull yesterday, and I snagged the front sun visor with the HomeLink module on it. Of course, it doesn't fit directly in the SHO, has anyone disassembled a front visor before? I'll grab a spare Taurus visor tomorrow just in case, but has anyone torn one up? I didn't find anything with a search...

    TIA!

I ended up tearing into one and putting one in my Lightning. Consider the visor trash once you split it apart. A piece of cardboard basically is what it is, and once it's apart there's no saving it. At least where I can anyway. I ended up just using the Homelink sectional piece and wired it into my lights from the vanity. Had to mount it to my overhead console instead but you could mount it to the headliner if desired. Works great. Never thought of putting one in the SHO though. Hmmm.....

That's what I was afraid of. I know last time I tore one up to put it in the Explorer, I massacred the visor, but I was going in blind. Figured the Tauri visors were no different, but thought I'd ask. :)

I'll have to look for location B and see what I can figure out...

    Thanx for the thoughts!
