I have to replace my turbos and I’m wondering what the difference is between the newer turbos and the turbos I have in the 2010. Would the newer turbos work? The performance sights say up to 2013 are the same but would a stock 2014 and up work as a replacement for the stock 2010 turbos? Would bolt them back on myself and wouldn’t want any complications looked up a lot of stuff for my car on already and know you guys know your stuff so what do we know about this

Not the answer you're looking for, but apparently you don't mind the vehicle having downtime.

That being the case and the fact that you will be removing the OEM turbos, you may want to consider the +2 option since you're already there.

The core charge for the OEM units, takes a hefty chunk out of the +2 cost and almost makes it a silly option to pass up if you don't mind dropping a few hundred extra.

However, back to your question... I'm almost positive the turbo housings were not altered during the SHO run.

According to my parts catalog, they use the same part number, which has been updated. The newer turbos don't require the support brackets.

I'm in a similar situation as the member you commented on. I have to replace one of my turbos because it's leaking oil. I'm toying with the idea of replacing both, but I'm not looking for an insane turbo upgrade. I'm unfamiliar with the turbo upgrades, and I'm interested in the +2 option you are speaking of. I did a search on the +2 option and came up with nothing. Could you provide a link or suggest a different search option? Thanks for any help!

This is the +2 turbo option for the SHO.

The +2 is unfortunately the only turbo upgrade for the SHO that I currently know of.

Of course, GearHead now offers these too, which is where I would strongly suggest you or anybody else to go ahead of ATP.

I know Gearhead Tuning offers turbo's as well. I don't know if they're for your year, but you could call them and ask. check them out at www.ghtuning.com ....I'd call; their site doesn't show HALF of what they offer.
