You will also notice the tires facing the sun can be warmer, and at a higher pressure. Totally dependent on the angle of the sun of course.

Followup after 36,000 miles. I had one left-side tire replaced after 20,000 miles because of a nail in the sidewall (cost: $0 because I bought the warranty from Discount Tire). Today I'm having the left-front tire replaced ($135) because of horribly uneven tread wear (another massive Tony Huerta screwup).

Regardless, the tires still stick great although I'm getting noticeable road noise from them.

Can anyone tell me if the left-front tire the drive wheel?

I put the Goodyear eagle sport a/s on my 92 and they seem pretty good!
