I didn’t know the p zeros where run flats, are you sure?

Anyway I’m talking about a good road on a hot day being as I just did this a month ago on the Sho. To be honest I didn’t just ditch the p zeros cause they didn’t hook from a stop light but also because I’m in Michigan and needed a all season tire anyway. I didn’t think the p zeros where a bad tire till I Change them for the Michelin AS-3. It was then I felt like “omg what a difference” and only after the swap did I feel like the p zeros where junk at least in comparison. And to be fair “junk” is a little bit much but with all the cars I’ve owned and own now I can’t say I ever remember being able to feel such a difference in a simple tire swap. I put the p zeros on my 12 Sho that I plan on selling that had the cooper zeons on it, I’d say there about the same. My 16 Sho, 15 mks, and 13 mks all have the Michelin mxm4 from stock on them all 3 about 35k miles, never really impressed with them at all but never hopped any of them up in power either. For sure all 3 of these will get the Michelin as-3 when it’s time for tires no doubt. Same wear rating as I recall or close and very close in price. Really not sure why Michelin even makes the mxm4 still with the as-3 being so much of a better tire. Lol.

Screenshot_20190902-135441.jpg I agree all weather traction is lacking as they are a summer tire. That's why I run a winter tire on my police wheels in winter. But I'm completely happy with them with a GH tune and no other mods. I may consider the GH intercooler in the future but not much else.

Anyone know if the p zeros that come factory on the PP 2018’s are run flats? Does it say it on the sidewall or something on the ones you have SHOmeda$$$?

I've used the continental extreme contacts year round. No issues in rain or snow. We get an awesome four season mix in the southwestern Pennsylvania area

The Conti’s where my 2nd pick but I’ve never tried them on a sho. They seemed pretty good on my challenger RT when I had it is why they where my 2nd choice plus a lot seem to like them

They will usually say "run flat" on the sidewall with Pirelli. After checking mine I stand corrected that they are not run flats. I was under the impression that all the p zero tires were run flats.

I have also heard good things about these Continentals. I almost bought them to run in winter but got full winter tires for almost half the price of the Extreme Contacts.

    The OEM Michelins
Yeah, I seldom get the mileage guarantee that some tires come with. My OEM Michelins were down to 3mm with 15k miles on them so 23k on the BFG's would be an improvement.

If you do make sure your shop will honor the warranty. It'll make replacing them a lot cheaper. And don't get me wrong they're fantastic tires, especially for the price.

The reason I asked was I was looking at P Zeros and saw that they can be purchased with the run flat option.

I put on a set of GoodYear Eagle Sports and have been really happy with them. Put them on about 2 months ago so haven't seen snow yet but they get pretty good reviews on the snow side as well.
