    Hi Guys,

My SHO has only 15k miles on it and I assume the original tires.
I want to replace all four and get :
    Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric All-Season - Size: 245/45ZR20
(Willing to hear other opinions. / Not an everyday car.)

    I can't find them anywhere.
Did they get discontinued w/o a replacement tire?
    Any help is appreciated.

I've never had the Goodyears on my car, when I bought it with 20k miles the PO had already swapped over to Nitto Motivo tires. With a little power, neither seems to hold up to the demands of spirited driving.

I installed General GMax RS tires in 245/45/20 back in November, and love them. Excellent wet/dry traction, good launches and minimal road noise. I've put about 10k miles on them so far and they look great. They have a 360 treadwear which is good for 60k miles so we'll see how long they last.

Yep the Conti DWS o6s are where it is at. Took to me a 1.77 sixty and allows me to stuff my SHO pretty much anywhere I want to go.

I personally have Michelin Super Sports on my SHO and it hooks real good even off a launch minimal tire spin
Edit: I am in California so snow isnt an issue here

    Thanks for the feedback.
No concern about getting "asymetrical" tires........?

Summer, winter, all season ...? In addition to the above,

    Pirelli Cinturato
    Firestone Wide Oval
    BF Goodrich Comp T/A

Tire pressure is as much part of the game as the tire you select.

I put on BF Goodrich g-Force Comp 2 A/S. I like them. Stiff side wall and speed rated for 189MPH. So I should be good if I ever tune HAHA!

I'm running them currently. Hook in the dry real well. Handles fantastic in the rain.

I just put on 275/40r20 Firestone Firhawk Indy 500's. I love the extra width and I only have a coule hundred miles on them, but they are working out great so far, especially considering they run about $40 cheaper per tire than similar BFGs, Continentals, Nittos, etc.
Note: I have 9.5" wide aftermarket wheels.

I had new Uniroyal Tiger Paw all seasons installed last year. They were pretty good all year round. And very good in rain, snow and ice.
Previously i had Conti Extreme Summer Contacts, or whatever they are called. They were the best on dry but spun alot in the rain (with a tune) and really sucked in the snow and ice

I had those on my stock 06 GTO. Loved then for 23K miles until they wore out and that was with mostly tame driving. Got them replaced prorated with warranty and the second set did the same damn thing. The shop said this was pretty normal so I moved on from them.

I have the Pirelli P Zero summer performance tires and these things are sticky!!! I have a GH tune and with ESC completely off, I cannot break them free or even a squak from them. Awesome tires!

    Are those run-flat tires?

Really?!? I’m sorry but I have GH tune, catless downpipes and GH intercooler. The P Zeros are junk far as I’m concerned. They came stock on my new 18 and my 16 mustang GT ( both PP cars). On the sho I did the mods with less then 100 miles on it and by 500 miles threw the P zeros away because they spun so bad off the line and even spun the 1-2 shift. I replaced them with 255/40 20 Michelin as3’s which are all season vs the p zero summer only. Not only do they ride better and feel sooo much better in the corners but I can’t hardly get them to break lose from a start no matter how hard I try and no spin on the 1-2 shift. The p zeros on my gt mustang would spin all of 1st, all of 2nd, lite 3rd and bark 4th. After loving how much better the Michelin‘s were over the P zeros on the SHO I swapped the mustang over to Michelin super sports 2’s now I shit and get in 1st and only bark 2nd. I will never run a p zero’s again even if they where free. For an all season Michelin to outperform a summer only P zero and have a night and day difference like that On my SHO and for almost the exact same price...well you can call me a Michelin man now! Lol my 2 cents

Not sure how much more power you've added with your mods but I'm telling you I can't spin the tires WOT from a stop with ESC off. I also have the PP option. Gotta factor in other factors like temperature and road conditions. I'm talking dry pavement with temps above 45 degrees. Absolutely zero complaints with these tires! No pun intended
