Looks unreal! Love it. Going to have to see what the local paint guy can figure out! Im guessing it was relatively easy to color match. Did you do it yourself?
Had my paint guy do it and took about 3 days because I wanted the trim removed.
How much did the paint work cost?
Mine cost me $350.
Has anyone ever tried doing it in black chrome
Ooooooo. I like that idea.
How hard is it to take the window trim off??
A complete pain in the ass. The upper pieces are held by clips and two sided tape. However if you bend them, crease them, or even tweek them...they are very challenging to reinstall correctly.
The bottom pieces are held by clips and tabs. The tabs break unless your completely take apart the inside of the door.
If I were to do this to another SHO I would just buy all new window trim pieces from Tasca Parts get them painted and then install with all new clips and tabs included. It would save me time, energy, and sanity.
I did all my chrome with vinyl that I found on ebay that had the same metallic finish as the paint. Turned out decent without being a permanent mod. just haven't done the rear piece yet.
Are your flowers powder coated or painted?
dipped.... just one side though.
I keep going back to look at your wheels. I really like them.
I got quoted at $120 per wheel for powder coat
It is surprising how much the whole flower look goes away just by making the wheel a solid color.
It really does. Looks much more aggressive and more like a solid wheel. Not the daisy spinners.
