I'm sure some here have already seen, but you can catch @zach44102 and me on episode 3 of season 2 of Netflix's Fastest Car series.

We didn't have the show of force we were wanting. We were left in the dark, then it was all last minute, they moved the race date to an earlier date on us for weather, and would not let us test the 2-step prior to the race. It was in the 30's that day and it started to rain prior to the race. You'll see Zach's windshield covered. We had no chance of traction.

On a side note, we will be doing a rematch with the McLaren next weekend at Street Car Takeover Atlanta! It could be an interesting race.

It was still a cool experience and we've gained new fans... I have been getting email from around the world, which is pretty cool. Zach had like 530 friend requests over night.

We will be at Street Car Takeover Atlanta this weekend. The crank sensor has been replaced as it was failing when we were at Indy, which was probably what was our biggest contributor to our "popping and banging", yet we still got solidly into the 9's. We have been fighting cam/crank errors with his ECU since it's been in, so it was difficult to troubleshoot a failing crank sensor until it completely died. We will be trying a beta firmware that is 'supposed' to fix this problem, as well as a few others, which we've experienced. Another fix is boost control... The 9.65 pass had 3rd gear spinning as the boost ramp'd up so fast, it could not control it and we were at 27 PSI while 4th gear was flat at the commanded 24 PSI (now we wish we had run 27 PSI in 4th).

Hoping to be able to have clean runs this time and start focusing on getting the first 1/8 mile down and ramping boost, with boost by gear, in the higher gears.

If you're running a different engine management can you not delete the crank sensor and just run off the cam sensor? I though I read somewhere that was an advantage of different tuning software.

It needs to sync with both. Cam only is a 50/50 shot.

We've been dealing with cam errors with this Infinity and is why we are trying out their beta software.

We had some redemption this weekend... Mind you, Zach let off.

    And, we went even faster!

9.3 @ 163... I don't have a video yet. New goal of 8's will likely happen quicker than the 9's did as it appears the beta firmware of the ECU got rid of our popping and banging issue.

    Impressive is somehow an understatement.

Fun video to watch from beginning to end.

Enjoyed the on cam impromptu interview of our beloved lil Zachary.
