Damn they keep changing things :)

What about on a 15 SHO with PP does that have the ESC somewhere? I thought one of the "perceived" PP advantages was that it a had 3 modes of ESC, did they stop that as nobody used it?

Always seemed odd to me, the SHO is hardly 1st choice of a track car, at least for a road course, so never really thought many people would be using the variable ESC modes

You don't have the ECS button because you don't have the "Performance Package," on your car.

Thank you for the info. I've been looking for this button (got the car last night, so it is all new to me), but no one has mentioned where it is lol. Thanks again.

I love driving around in Sport mode. It is just simply more enjoyable to drive around in. I enjoy the sounds of the motor staying in the upper RPM range with out a single f given about gas milage. ;)

^^ That button must be a PP only deal... my car doesn't have that, instead it has the self parallel parking button. I found the traction control through the settings in the cluster.

On 13+ models the ESC button is here if you have the Performance Package. If it isn't equipped with the PP, you won't find an ESC button here. This button is how the Traction Control / Stability Control nannies are put in "Sport" mode or completely disabled.

I LOVE Sport mode here in AZ. makes it growl better, when I get on the freeway I use D. If you really want to make your passenger scream leave in in park push the traction button 2 times...true sport mode is right! nothing like drifting at 85 ! :)

I drag raced half my adult life, so not getting PP would've been unimaginable. But now that I've been driving with the Driver Assist Package for a few months, I can't imagine not having it.

Well....you can't drift that well when just pushing the Traction Control button twice - all this does is reduce Traction Control and Electronic Stability. To drift you want to shut off the entire system - do this by pushing and holding the ECS (traction button) for 5 seconds and then all safety measures are off!!! Then your passengers be like: :omgsho: and like: :eeeeeek:

Getting PTU flushed tomorrow morning I'm going to find this stupid shutter feeling at really low rpm 3rd gear ! Never give up. after I find out what it was I'll repost.

In some cars yes. My 13 PP does not go into the actual sport mode by pushing the ESC button twice. However, when I put the shifter in S my car behaves completely different just as stated above.

My 2016 doesn't have an ESC button, but when in sport mode it does keep RPM's higher and seems to be a little more responsive

Only PP cars have the ESC button. You can turn off traction in the menu on the left side of the cluster of a non PP car. You just cannot completely turn the system off.

If you go on my big thread, it will help you determine if you have a PP car or not. I have seen one case (only one) of a verified PP car that did not have the ESC button. It was actually a screw up at Ford. He was able to procure the button and assembly, install it, and his car worked perfectly.
