Just curious, can the shifters be used still with the factory center console trim or will I have to run no center console to run the shifter?

I am contemplating buying one mid-Febuary/march if there are any left.

It works fine with the stock center console, both Gen1-style and Gen2-style. See the first post of the installation thread for pics of it installed with a Gen2-style center console.

Here is mine in the 93-95 ATX console that I swapped into my '92 ('92 shifter boot). I found with the SHOrt shifter, there is no need to trim the opening for the shifter, I think with the stock one, it might have been needed.

Ignore the dirty seats and carpet, they are next on the list. And DAMN is my interior several different shades of gray. Put that on the list too.

    Good luck with that.

You can email him at jaftek@hotmail.com (if that's still in use) or the number I found is (786) 385-9237.

Even then, I don't think he'll be making any.

Yeah I seriously doubt he would, the short throw is nice but the stock shifter IMO is more practical for a DD.

The SHOrty shifter is the perfect happy medium. I had the SHOrt shifter in my 91 and the SHOrty in my 89. The 89 was so much funner to drive.

This group buy ended 5 years ago. Your only option is to find a used one somewhere.
