I'm looking for a shop manual, and a vacuum and wiring daigram for the 1st gen SHO. Where can I find these, and is there a soft copy available?

Ebay is your best bet for hard copies of the manuals. AFAIK there are no shop manual CDs before '92 (or maybe it was '93...)

I'll have to see if Win 8.1 will read the CDs. Win 7 does not.

No Win 8.1 will not read it. I'll have to reload XP on my old laptop and see if I can get it running again.

Your best bet is to input "1995 Taurus / Sable Electrical and Vacuum Troubleshooting Manual (EVTM)" in google and look for E-bay listings. They are anywhere from $7.00 to $20.00, depending on condition. You may have to check in for a week or two, and mix up the search wording, but they are out there, and they are very helpful. The 95 EVTM needs to be in a binder, and it has the holes drilled in it to mount it.
Mine was beat up and dirty, so it was at the low end of the scale, but when you actually use them, they do get beat up and dirty.

I'm fairly new here too, and you are very right. There are a ton of good people here. I have to say, this forum is why I've kept my sho thus far. Still a work in progress, but it is coming along Thanks to all the helpful folks here.
