Hey guys!
Just purchased a 1994 ATX with 41k miles. It is my seventh SHO since I was 19 years old. The car looks and runs perfect. Hard to believe I found one. Not sure if anyone knows if there are any Gen 2’s with that kind of mileage left out there. Anyway good to be back and I love this forum and thank you for still being here after such a long hiatus for me!

Congrats indeed! That looks super clean, and is my favorite color on the earlier gens.

Welcome back! Nice find. I recall there was a 25K green ATX somewhere on the east coast, but not much else. Was this a local Arizona car?

It started off it’s life in Indiana and the owner was a snowbird here in Mesa, where it has been for the last 15 years. It was purchased from the original owner on eBay back in October by a gentleman here who bought it for his 18 year old daughter and then realized it was too nice to let her have as a daily driver and I found it on Craigslist back in January.

Also, it appears as if the dealership had a gold package installed on the car with gold Ford emblems, 24v DOHC emblems and gold antenna piece. The keys are also gold. Has anyone ever heard or seen this before? Thanks guys!

Glad the previous owner realized it probably wasn't a good first car for his daughter. There are only so many still in this condition. Never heard of the gold package. Got any close ups of those items?

Very nice SHO! Which color interior?

The ‘gold’ package was a dealer add-on. Done by an outside party specializing in gold plating and such. Commonly found on higher end cars of the era. I watched this being done on a car while working at a Ford dealer. Electricity is used to adhere the gold ‘paint’ to metal coated surfaces, like chrome.

Mocha 50/50. No sunroof, no JBL. I guess as stripped down as they came! The cassette player still works like new so that has been a fun throwback! I searched the archive for production numbers for 1994 but haven’t seen one yet. Does anyone by chance have those numbers?

You should take your SHO to the Pavilions on a Saturday evening (once the pandemic is over). There would be quite a few people excited to see such a clean survivor. Myself included.

There is a post on here with the production numbers, looks like the pictures were lost. I thought I had a copy, but doesn't look like it. Maybe someone from the previous thread will chime in as some said they had the paperwork for 94
