Looks gorgeous... if I only had the space and clearance from the tower to get another SHO... really liking the Gen 1s these days.
I showed this ad to a few automotive enthusiast friends. They know the old SHO Taurus after I owned a ‘92 for 15+ years. The first thing all of them said was “only 5k!(?)”. They cannot believe that hasn’t sold yet... Honestly I haven’t been this tempted since selling mine 6 years ago. This color combo is top 3 for me. Unfortunately there is no way I would leave this parked outside, which would be my only option. .
Agreed. They are. I'm having a hard time not biting on this. Never owned a gen I, but I sure would like to...
I don’t know what pictures you all are looking at...did you pay any attention to the undercarriage shots? In the ad described as “slight patina”. That’s like saying there was a slight disturbance at the Capitol on Jan 6. Sure looks like a car approaching 200k miles to me.
Are you referring to the Red 90 on ebay, that is still listed for sale. That car's under carriage had quite a bit of rust (slight patina quoted in ad). This one owner car was a very clean California car and I don't recall the ad showing any under car shots.
When I clicked on the first link in SHO finds it took me to a 1990 on Hemmings website in Morgantown, Pa. That’s the car that I was referring to. With a greatly inflated price of $13500. Lots of undercarriage pictures. Perhaps the 1991 was some time back. So it’s possible we are talking about two different cars. My comments are directed to the 1990.
The red 90 is discussed in this post. https://shoforum.com/index.php?threads/red-90.142698/ The 91 discussed here was a differnt car and very clean. -Chad
