Anyone know what Shosource used to reinforce their rear mounts ??
Using a clean, rebuildable used rear V8 mount, we reinforce it by filling the weak air spaces with high durometer urethane to hold the mount together and create a very stiff mount.
What’s the stuff called that you use
You can use a pourable urethane found in most hardware stores. Just look for the shore hardness rating.
Devcon Flexane 15820 is a good brand that you can get from Amazon and has the target shore of 80. Its more pricey than what you might find in the hardware stores.
Otherwise you could get something from manufacturers like smooth-on.com to really dial in your desired result.
Ha. I just copy and pasted the shosource description from their site.
