Can anyone recommend a good quality power steering pump replacement?
The one that I installed two years ago has the same problem as the previous one.
Fluid is leaking from the pulley shaft.

These are the part numbers I am coming up with. The second looks like a reman from dealers. $60 + $40 refund core. You can use the numbers to cross ref. parts. I don't have a reman that I think is so great as to not fail over a few years. Have you checked to see if the belt path isn't off by too much or the pump pulley is making it a little off? What's too much? I don't know. I knew it when I saw it with the crank pulley seperating slightly.
If I had to make a choice in the dark I'd get one from the dealer for the $60-65 but that's just a guess.

    Thanks.
Hooking up again with my long time mechanic is one of the best things to happen in some time.
He is now in a situation that is better for him and myself.
Simply put, he is the reason my SHO is still running. He'll be glad to see my SHO again and I know my problems will be taken care of. So if anyone needs a great professional mechanic in (southeast florida) for all cars, trucks, gas, diesel and best of all SHO's, let me know.
