    New to me CSVT.

    Funny story, bought this car, drove it back from WI to NY with no problems. I noticed the hood safety latch was a little rusty and didn't return to the "catch" position. So I lubed the shxt out of it and drove it around for about a month with no issues. One morning hop in, start off to work and the hood latch decides to let go. Slapped right into the windshield at 40 mph, cracks the glass, dents the roof, trashes the hood, and wrecks a pair of my pants. Well not really on the pants, but it was rather shocking.

    Pic below is after the junkyard hood, new f'n latch, dent repairs, paint, and windshield replacement. I did all the work myself to save some $, and the paint came out good for a 14 year old car.
