Going to check out a new car tomorrow morning. Trading the SHO and Mustang in towards it. Bought the SHO in November of 2000. Its going to be hard to give it up.

Going from two V8s to a 1.6 liter 4 cylinder with 120hp will be a big change. Unfortunately fuel economy and a new car warranty have won out.

Who knows, I may be back when the Gen IV SHOs have been out long enough.

Congrats on the new car purchase, and best of luck with your future plans. Remember, you can still stick around even though you don't have an SHO. :)

Congrats man. The Fiesta's a a pretty sweet ride and handles really well, so it's not a total loss, but you'll def miss the power. I can give you an X Plan PIN if you need one too BTW.

Well, I did it. I got a very good deal on the car and in trading in my SHO and Mustang. I love the interior of the car, especially at night. The LED driving lights are really sharp.

A bird already crapped on my windshield while I was parked at work. I have to go to the Ford dealership tomorrow so I'll have them run it through their car wash. :)

I ended up getting the SES model in Blue Flame Metallic with the 6 speed automatic. It has the 16" wheel package and moonroof. The car seems very solid, nice tight handling and revs better than I thought it would.

Dang, you went with a pretty loaded out model, nice. Congrats man.:thumb:

Did you get the blue accented cloth seats to match the blue flame or the leather? I really like how they did the accents on the cloth ones. Keep us updated on what you think about it and real world fuel economy. I've driven a few in manual and automatic and I was actually pretty impressed by the dual clutch auto. When in Low gear mode it really holds the gears while the engine revs out and being a dry clutch setup, it is very direct. It even gives you engine braking. The only thing it's missing is paddle shifters.

Congrats Wuzzer! I remember when you were meddling with the mods for that car!

    I went from a 3.4L V-8 to a 5.3L V-8.... and I get better gas mileage with the latter!?

There is nothing wrong with the Fiesta. It's a pretty snazzy car. Best of luck, and good luck not modding the hell out of it! (I see a turbo in your future )
