Well guys I was in town for the holidays, so I headed to the Pavillions car show. Grabbed a bite to eat at Hooters and pulled into the show at 7:45 pm.

They kicked us out at 8:00 pm.

I know the show had been getting a little rowdy lately, but there was no revving going on, no burnouts... Salt River Police rolled though and told everyone to go home.

Maybe things have changed since I've left, but dang, I remember hanging out there til 11:30 back in high school.

Update on my SHO: (My dad and I are doing a 3.2 swap after my 3.0 kicked the bucket.) Engine and trans is rebuilt, bolted on the subframe. Got the drive shafts in, and drivers side suspension is all bolted up. I only can work on it when I visit home; my dad is doing most of the work and he is planning on driving it to work after it's running. Hopefully it will be done this summer and I'll buy it back from him in a year or so after I move to Nebraska for my job.

Hope everyone is doing well! I know the AZ forum has been slow as of late.

Has the area built up in the last few? Got any pics of the ongoing project?

The place has looked the same since when I got my SHO in '09. The Chinese Buffet closed and Hooter's replaced it... The place is empty on every night but Saturday.

It's true that the demographic seems to be changing though. My generation, the Fast and Furious generation, seems to be growing up and buying cars and being stupid... As the show dies down as of late people were doing burnouts and revving engines, but nobody has gotten hurt or anything. Kick out the kids doing burnouts, not the rest of us... /rant

Dug up some pics and took some pics how she sits:

Love these Cobra R's. The American Racing rims I had were nice, but not the real deal.

Here's the subframe, you can see the press which failed at pressing out the wheel bearing... taking the knuckle to a shop tomorrow.

    Driver side suspension hung.

More fun goodies I've accumulated. Need an adapter for my 80mm Lincoln MAF....

I haven't been in awhile but usually it's 9pm not 8 due to the F&F crowd coming in.
My V club went to Cars and Coffee in the morning then we had a cookout at my house that night and watched fights. I'll need to take the troops out there the next 2 or 3 weeks, we rolled in with 18 or 19 V's to the Cars and Coffee gig. :)

Thanks, I seriously miss driving this thing. It'll look gorgeous when it's done though. I'm planning on going lower too.... Can't wait.

Yeah they've kicked us out at 10 before and even 9, but never 8.
Where's Cars and Coffee at?? That's a ton of V's! haha

I'm driving back to Las Cruces NM tomorrow unfortunately, I'll be back in May though. I'll let my brother know about C&C. He is doing a clutch job on his '83 Porshe 944 this week.
