Hey guys! Lee here with Ortiz Performance. I've been a member here for a long time, but regrettably haven't been very active, mostly lurking around or searching past threads for information. A customer of ours made a post earlier about us and figured I would check it out and saw some people questioning who we were so I figured I'd post up and say hey.

Luis Ortiz, our tuner, was the Lead Calibrator for American Muscle from 2016-2017 and handled all of their SEMA builds and handled training. We've actually been working together on late model Ford tuning since 2007, and you can follow most of our long term progress on the Mustang forums and our Facebook page http://www.facebook.com/OrtizTuning. In late 2017, Luis decided that building "plug and play" tunes just wasn't his style and he left to one again share his passion with the world. He's been training Coyote and Ecoboost tuners around the country and his tunes are utilized around the world in many different applications.

We tend to go against the mold for Ecoboost tuning and have applied several concepts that we have mastered from over a decade tuning Mustangs and other Ford applications, and I'll say it has faired us well.

I looked around for Site Sponsors or Vendor requirements before posting but didn't see one, so if I'm violating any agreements please let me know and I will ammend or pay up.

If you guys have any questions or would like to try a tune I invite you to do reach out, ask questions, and give us a shot. If it has 4 wheels and OBD-II Ford PCM, we can tune it.

    Cool.

I do recall some past chatter about your company there Lee. But admittedly it has been a while, and seems to fallen into the obscurity of the forum.

Nice to see you coming out from the shadows and posting up info for the members here to digest.

    Much (continued) success.

Any dyno sheets, vids, etc. you care to share with the masses?

Thanks for the feedback! Unfortunately no formal dyno sheets as we only have a 2WD dyno at the shop and all of our SHOs are street tuned with no customers hopping on the dyno yet. We have a few planning trips soon so we'll be sure to share!

Our YouTube page is https://www.youtube.com/user/Ortizperformance/videos with most of our videos. I need to get more SHO material added though, will try to get that going today.

We've become very well versed with the use of Variable Cam Timing on these cars to increase power and acceleration, and also the use of E30 on the stock HPFP and are experimenting with high concentrations with the XDI-35 to see how far we can get on the stock injectors and LPFP.

Our cars are consistently running 12.8s in the 1/4 on 91 tune only, 12.5s with 93, and 12.0s with E30, downpipes and the rear seats removed.

I see Lee on Facebook pretty often giving advice. One of the guys at Carlisle this year was running an Ortiz tune. Happy to see others still trying to improve this platform especially with the recent issues with one of the more recommended tuners in LMS.

This post does require a donation Lee. I am the acting treasurer, so if you'd like to send money you can send a hundred bucks or so to me that would be swell.

Gearhead finally sent me a working tune, so I'm hoping to do a GH vs Ortiz dyno run at some point in the near future. Lee's customer service is unbeatable though!

Was that Devin Galler? He's a good guy, helped him fix several issues and now he's loving the tune compared to his previous tuner.
