I’m looking to add a gauge cluster once my upgraded turbos are installed. Just wondering if anyone knows of an oil filter sandwich plate that fits so I can do an oil pressure gauge.

    Thanks

Oil pressure gauges are usually done at the oil pressure sensor port, where the car has an idiot light switch normally. Any reason you wouldn't add it there, where oil pressure is normally measured?

The 2008+ block sensor uses a 1/4"-18 NPT fitting - while most gauge kits are 1/8" for cars of the last millennium.

Use a 1/4 "tee" like this one:

Into the side port, use a 1/4->1/8 adapter if needed and attach your gauge hose. Into the end, screw the original sensor.

If you use an electrical gauge sensor, you might need a longer tee for clearance, but quickly, I only found long style with all-1/8 threading. Or mount it on the the end of a hose.

Unfortunately, the direction the side port faces will be kind of random after you screw it in. There is an "oil sensor socket", $12 at autozone, that should be deep enough to clear the big plug on the end of the new-style sensor, otherwise have a 26mm or 1-1/16" wrench. I'm still trying to get to my G2's - might need to cut off the handle of a 10" long crescent wrench (besides everything to remove to access the sensor.)

Use high temperature thread sealant on fittings and allow to cure.
