So I recently bought a 89 sho with the engine light on. Didn't think it was much so I read codes.spits out o2 sensor. So I buy 2 new denso sensors and go to change them and this is what I see. Fused conectors
Can I just Sauder the wires together?
Obviously proper coordination.

I'd get a new connector for the end of it and fix it right.

You could hard wire them together and it most likely wouldn't be a problem but that's pure hackery and not reccomended, esp as easy as it is to put a new connector on it.

If you take your time on disassembly,I'm sure you could save the end terminals of the factory wiring and just replace the plastic pieces of the connector. I'd try that before just cutting them.

I recently installed 2 new Denso sensors on mine when I did the 60k and didn't have any problems.

You should be able to look it up in the Help! brand manual at Autozone or Advance. Not sure if either would carry it but I'm sure they can get it.

I'm sure the Ford dealer could too.

Take your o2 sensor with you and tell them you need the plug that plugs it in so there's no mistake.

If u went to the junkyard,I'd bet about any ford from 86-06 would use the same plug but I'm not 100% on that.
