Just curious on what the difference between this one and the SHOSource one is?

Isn't the centre support different? Fit is slightly different as well.

Side note, what's with so many people (well 2 threads at the same time anyway, which is more than usual!) getting Cincys all of a sudden?

The cincy hoods have a better center support, and the area between the top and bottom under the cowl is closed off.

My SHOsource hood came off a car that rear ended some one. Needless to say, It's interesting with the way it fits and what not (If you look at it in certain lights it's horrifying). I'm considering buying another one but then again my car is no show winner by any means. :)

It is? Maybe Cincy change the design over the years? My Cincy doesn't all that different to Phoenix's SHOSource hood.

    Maybe I'm missing something.

you're looking at the wrong area. The only real difference on the underside is the material near the front on the shosource hood. You can see where it ends on the picture of Pheonix's hood.

The area I'm talking about you really only see from the inside of the car. The center brace on a cincysho hood runs front to back, and the area under it is covered. The original shosource hood had no brace and sagged. So they revised it by sticking an ugly chunk of bondo'd fiberglass that isn't even sanded. At least that's how mine is.

I wasn't sure if Cincysho was still making hoods, it might make my search for a new one easier.

Oh nvm I think I see it. Like an insert where the centre cowl support is right?

BTW I love how tightly the hood sits against the bumper on Randy's car. Very nice. :thumb:

Edit: Aha, You beat me by a minute Steve.
