Last week, searching for japanese SHOs with the help of a friend who speak japanese (who helped to find out how "Ford Taurus" is writen in this language), after then I was able to find a site similar to E-bay in which many SHO (Gen 1/2/3) parts were listed. Many were already known by the community here except for these for Gen 3 springs that I never rode about :

    Zoom down force
(set of 4 lowering springs, yellow color, seems progressive on 4 wheels)
    part # : W208466429
Lowering all 4 wheel by 35 to 45 mm (around 1 to 1 1/2 inch)
Description said that they are 15 % stiffer from factory (confirmed by the next numbers that I had to converse)
Front spring compression rate : 172 lb/inch (stock is 155 and my Moog setup is 169)
Rear spring compression rate : 115 lb/inch (stock is 100 and my Moog setup is 137)
(115 on the rear seems good as my rear is a little bit hard with 137)

Price was listed between 23 200 to 25 000 yens which is around 260$ CAN. Not so high but the shipping I don't know...

It's all the usefull infos that I was able to translate.

Not sure is the right email but just in case :

Nice find. What are the rated loads (not load rates)? I think these would be good with non-adjustable shocks.
Considering the Japanese connection to our cars, ya gotta wonder how many SHOs in Japan don't have at least some small logo or mention of Yamaha attached.

BTW - j'aime l'avatar nouveau, mais je ne comprends pas "SHO RUNNER".

The site is this, but You have to enter Ford Taurus in japanese and I'm not sure how to write it now... (after verifiction with friend, Google traduction isn't reliable to find the good words).

    https://auctions.yahoo.co.jp/search/search?p=フォード・トーラス&auccat=0&ei=UTF-8&b=461

All the infos I was able to retreive is there sadly, there was no info on load rates. But I will not be so concerned with that because when I made my searches about springs (many many hours spent), I came to the conclusion that load rate isn't the maximum capacity but more a load that the spring will handles before it reach his maximum compression (or something like that). To illustrate what I'm saying, you can compare the max load of our Ford 1996 "KUM" with a 550 lbs versus the Moog CC859 which have only around 450lbs of max load. However CC859 are a way stronger (4 people and a full trunk : 1- 1 1/2 inch lowering)... Or maybe it's before the spring rate change as these are progressive. (?)

An aftermarket was developped for this car in Japan as they were sold (and built) there. I was able to find 2 complete for sale too (1 black, 1 silver). Strangely, their VIN seems differents : 1FANP54... Normally, we have a "L" in the place of the N. Don't remember at what this particular letter refer right now (air bag gen ?). However, you can make some searches with this partial VIN to dig.

P.S. Thanks for my avatar. The picture is from the last Blade Runner movie (great movie by the way) on which I replaced the futuristic car by another. The theme on this picture represent how I feel in front of a crubbling parts market for our car, where I have to scavenging remains...

Just checked my book, this different letter is for the restrain system (seat belts and air bags combo, N= 4 active seat belts with 2 air bags). A, B, C, L, P, R, and S can appears but no N at this place in my book...
