In trying to remove the chain sprocket from my engine balance shaft, I broke a tooth. I later used heat and it came right off. It is a double row sprocket, and I "think" it would probably work with one compromised tooth, but I don't want to risk it. Does anyone have laying around?

    Thanks,
    Kyle

F6DZ-6A304-AA, obsolete thru Ford and zero available in their dealer network. You'll need to get it from a junk yard or find a sho person parting one out. You might try the Facebook Marketplace. You'll get more exposure there.

Alternatively, you could provide the sprocket to a company to have them make you a new one. There may not be an off the shelf product, but many smaller shops will make it to your specifications or even use the part you have to develop a new one. I don't have any experience with any companies, just a thought if you want NOS.

Does anyone know if this sprocket is the same one found on the Duratec motor?

That is the one. I knew they were unavailable, but I suspected someone here would have one. What do you want for it?

Initially I thought it was pressed on, and I tried to use a puller. After damaging a tooth, I heated it with a propane torch and it came right off.
