So I don't share much about my personal life, and have been afraid to share about this because I still can't believe I managed to land such a fun new job.

My background is photography, digital imaging, graphic design, stuff like that. After I was laid off a few years back I had given up hope on finding anything enjoyable again, and just looked for what ever I could to survive.

I just started at my local ford / lincoln dealer working as a "marketing assistant". Basically it involves photographing all the inventory, managing the web stuff, social media, and marketing the dealer. Right now, just trying to catch up photographing the inventory, as there are close to 500 cars, many have no pics. Looking forward to the other duties too once I get caught up.

Since I love cars, collect auto lit, and all I just am still in shock I got it. It's been about a week and I really don't feel like it is work when I go to work. It's actually been a touch hectic though, because I have been working as a personal trainer to get by, and still have obligations to several folks, so am doing that in the evening...but will probably let that slow down and be selective if I keep doing it.

Just wanted to share with everyone, and If your looking don't give up hope, took me almost 3 years to get back on track.

    Excellent!

When you live your job, you don't 'work' a day in your life.

It's awesome to have a job you enjoy that doesn't feel like work (I wouldn't know personally, but I'm glad it happened for you):)
    Congrats!

It's almost been a year, and I was just promoted up...so so far it's been good. Got some great events for our store planned.
