So, who was driving the silver '92-'95 Taurus with the big-ass hoop "spoiler" on the deck lid that was getting pushed by the News 9/6 Storm Tracker this morning?

No pictures; it was on the live video from the Storm Tracker's dash cam.

I drove my 89 home from the Fire Station Wed morning. I was the ONLY vehicle on entire eastbound Creek and Will Rogers turnpikes. It was fairly insane.

We were closed Tuesday-Friday, so I spent the week at home. 'Til today, I couldn't get the tractor started, so I just this afternoon got my driveway passable for my car. Maybe the storm tomorrow won't be bad and the snow will melt off before the next storm hits on Tuesday...

Yay, another five inches. The old, dirty snow was almost gone, so it was time for a refresh; now it's all clean and pretty again. The area between my house and garage looked like a freaking snow globe--these great big snowflakes were just swirling around, sparkling in the sun. It was incredibly beautiful, but none of the pictures I took adequately captured the scene...

It was not snowing when I went to bed last night (around 11p), and the report said we had 4-8inches expected. Woke up at 450am, went to go start truck, it was covered with 14+inches, snow was still falling heavy. Roads had not been plowed, fortunately I have a heavy 4wd truck that laughed at the snow. But it still was a long drive to work (2hours instead of the normal 55minutes). I think we ended up with about 22+inches of snow at the house, on top of the 18inches from before. Insane.

We ended up with about 10 inches today. The roads were almost clear from the last round, but now are a mess again.

They said on the TV forecast that it might be -11* in the morning in Tahlequah! That wasn't the wind chill, either.

If we ever thaw out, it really would be nice to finally have a gathering again. It's been almost 10 years since we had the convention in Tulsa and we've only had a handful of meetings since then. Bummer.

I agree Paul! A Spring THAWFEST or something. There are a few places in Tulsa that would be fine to meet at, maybe around Brookside for a breakfast. Tulsa is pretty centrally located. I bet some of our KS folk would show up.

As long as we are around any place is fine.

We don't have to worry about work getting in the way, just whether we are home or not. Our schedule includes lots of vacation these days.

Officially, I think Norman was -5*F this morning, but my back porch was at -9*F. I think the news reports said some places in OK were around -25*F this morning. Brrr....
