I am a long time lurker, but not much of a contributor. I bought a new 1991 SHO and had it for 15 years before selling it. Now at 70 I realize I will never own another. I have a bunch of NOS parts , literature, models, etc to sell. I went to the classified section and made a small donation hoping to be able to leave a note via PayPal inquiring about the proper procedure and amount for multiple items. Can someone help me out here? I apologize in advance for my ignorance.

Too old! Nonsense. I'm 81, drive a Flex with the same turbo engine as the Sho along with an 86 restored Fiero with a 3.8 supercharged engine from a Bonneville. It's a real screamer! I'm not ready to roll over and drive a Focus or a Prius yet.

God Bless you. I am impressed. I'm not ready to roll over just yet. My issue is with cars that are tough to get parts for. I have a long history with cars such as AMX's and TVR's that are great cars but nearly impossible to get parts for. What turned me off to my SHO was when I went to emissions in CT and they had to hold it on the dyno at 22-26 mph to get their reading. It was an extremely hot humid day and they couldn't do it after several tries. From my vantage point I could see that the rpms were extremely low and the car was bucking and lugging. I surmised that he was shifting from first to fourth instead of second. I told the supervisor who chastised me and told me that his employees were perfectly capable of operating a manual transmission. They finally got it to pass. When I got in the car it was overheating for the first time ever. After that, whenever the engine warmed up, the oil light would come on and it would have a slight knock. It had never done that before. I filed a complaint with the state, but of course that went nowhere. I loved that car. It was the best overall car I ever owned. I did all the maintenance myself including the timing belt, water pump, crank sensor, and valve adjustment at 60k. Then in one hour, the state emissions dept soured me on the car. Now I get my thrills with a 2001 Mustang GT Bullitt that I put a Kenne Bell twin screw blower on.

Dirty Harry, keep on truckin'. You are an inspiration.
