How to turn off DRL (Daytime running lights)

    I'll swap my DRL module for the shunt/plug/thing if anyone actually wants to add DRL to their car...

    I always thought they were stupid, myself. But to each their own.

    DRL is not the same as auto-lamps. The DRL illuminates the front lamps (high beam filament on low voltage) only ... the taillamps do not get turned on.

    F43Z 15A272 A is the number for a module for those who might wish to add it to a U.S. vehicle.

    This turned out to be the quickest and most effective solution. All works great. no more DRL!

    I used to have a 94 ATX..bought it when I lived in AZ, Then I moved to the Very North East you can get in Ohio and the weirdest thing..I suddenly had DRL..never got an explanation from anyone about that..

    I know this is, like, ten years later, but I have a new 95 and went back to this post. I was able to buy the jumper part, new, and after an hour of searching, found the DRL module under the splash guard in the driver side front wheel well. Pop the wire harness out of the module and plug in the jumper plug and, bam, no more DRL.
