Were can I get hoses and a t . the t by the water pump leaks
Is the correct replacement in this diagram? https://www.v8sho.com/SHO/waterpump.html
I assume that not all replacements are still in the ford parts chain. I used to have all the v6 and v8 hose part numbers but I don't know where to locate it. There are aftermarket options on some.
Yes it's the water outlet hose
See if any of these match up
This is what he wants.
Best I can read the number on it is -
and it is hard to read so a good chance a couple of those characters are incorrect.
At least you got a picture now. And the skinny leg originally has a metal shield bent around it too.
It's leaking from the black fitting
I don't think I've ever seen that thing out of the car. I can't imagine there's an aftermarket version of that thing. Have to look for new oem or used I imagine.
Is the black fitting just a clamp? Maybe you can salvage the solid T and get a correct diameter hose replacement with a clamp back on it?
I was thinking the same exact thing. Just like the metal heater hose tubing in the Gen 2.
It looks like the same type of fitting. If so, you reuse the black T fitting. On a Gen 2, you cut off the fitting with a Dremel and replace the hose and use a radiator clamp. Under the fitting should look like the left side of the T joint so don't cut into the T fitting, just the thin metal clamp.
Thanks for the help I'll try that
Good luck! report back. Curious if this works.
Well I peeled off the fittings and shire we enough a normal hose would work. I replaced both pieces of hose and now it's good to go. I still have a leaking head gasket.
