The Miata hood went on a paint diet.

Is that polished? And if so, is it steel or aluminum? Impressive none the less. I'm proud of you.

Polished. The stock hoods are aluminum. I bought a car that had a polished hood...except it was wrecked, and the hood was folded in half. Want that one Tom?

I was hoping that by living in the driest city in the known universe, it would just stay shiny. All the cool kids on the Miata boards just say to repolish it when/if it gets dull. To be fair though, there is a solid chance I will either crash it and bend the hood in half before it gets dull or I will park it in my backyard next to the SHO and never drive it.

So in summary, I don't know. I'm not really much of a planner. :)

    LOL
I am much better at planning to do things than at actually doing them...

I was expecting you to say that you would put some kind of wax/polish/protector finish on it, but maybe its not needed. That is why I was curious.

The Other Woman's intake, Upper Timing Cover, well, everything has never been touched since I had them polished. Arizona is good.
