I recently installed Osram Xenarc Laser, and wow are these headlights good now. They are better than mazda headlights now. I took pictures of normal xenarcs that are oem on road at night compared to the xenarc lasers and they literally are 200% better. They can be pretty expensive but ordered direcly on ebay from Germany they are pretty cheap, thats where i ordered mine.

Any D3S Osram or Phillips will work as upgrades, ive seen the phillips flagship lights (not sure on the name) are on par with the osram lasers, but the phillips are more blue and the osram lasers are a touch whiter then the oem. Borrowed a color temperture meter from lab at work and they measured around 4800k as osram dosnt have a listing of the kelvin on their website. So they are whiter, then the 4400k xenarc originals.

Ive installed 55w ballasts and at 4500-5000k they dont make a difference at all from the stock 35w ballast. So i have the stock ballasts back in, but these headlights are simple 20 minute plug in for a heck of alot more better light. Beats spending half the day changing ballasts to gain nothing.

Ill post the pictures then, i just need to get better pictures with the upgrades in.

That's good to know. Let us know how you like them and if there is any downside to them.

Keep us updated, if they are a simple plug and play product I’d be interested in getting a pair.

Yes they are plug and play. Same company has oem, osram. Also made in Germany like oem. BMW developed the laser hid bulbs with osram but since moved to led type. They are literally much brighter and longer distance. I have a night life so I drive a lot at night and they have even saved me from wildlife at night also.
