Good grief. I spent an enormous amount of time trying to fit it back in last night. I remember it was fidgety coming out, so I was expecting a little battle on reassembly. But this was much worse than getting alternator in or anything else I can think of. I'd thought of loosening the lower cowl "bowl" but then I wouldn't be able to tighten it down once wiper assembly was in (getting the drain tube oriented right and reattached was fun enough).

Any info on this for future reference, such as which end to put in first, etc.?
(EDIT: obviously I was able to get it in, but it seemed that it was the same approach I'd tried a dozen or so times before, and I was so pissed off at the time that I didn't even think about exactly how I did it.)

    Thank you
