Getting the radio out of the console

    So how do I get the radio out of the console on my 92 without ripping it apart?

    I've been able to use a bent coat hanger in the shape of the Ford Tool

    or if you are talented enough, you can use 4 allen wrenches or punches of the correct size, but that's more challenging...

    Shish Kabob spears from your kitchen drawer (or Walmart) work perfectly to go in the little holes on each side of the radio and release the retaining tabs. I just wash them and put them back without telling my wife.
