Hey all. My car wouldn’t start this morning. I’m suspecting a possible alternator issue. I’d think that is under warranty. Will I need to switch back to my stock tune? If so, can someone point me in the right direction on how to do that? I tried searching the forum, nothing came up but I’m sure it’s here.

Taking it back in for service? The best thing is always to revert to stock. Check the PCM strategy after vehicle is returned to you. That way if they change the PCM strategy for some reason, it won't mess with your attempt to reload the tune.

If you have a 3 bar MAP installed, you will need to put back the 2 bar MAP also.

If possible charging issue be sure the battery has a good charge or put a charger on it as you will brick the ECU if the battery dies while flashing.

Similar to how you loaded initial tune, select program vehicle, then on the next screen you should see return to stock at the bottom of screen. As said before, make sure your battery is over 12 volts. You can verify that thru your tuner as well. I think it is under vehicle information if you scroll down far enough.

Well if I designed the x4 for I would have put it under vehicle information. No wonder I could never find anything I was looking for on that piece of crap.
