G3: Spun cam 1998 in Salem + blown tranny in Seattle + $1000 SHO?

    In my hood, some SHOs have shown up:

    $300 for a red 98, runs, but badly so probably loose cam, no battery:

    $700 for good looking, bad tranny car (a 96?) - could be as simple as torque converter pump splines.

    A 1993 MTX with a knocking noisy engine without power is $400 in Seattle, mis-listed in craigslist "wanted" section.

    Not that anyone is rushing to buy it but with that gen 1 wheel and center console it's a 92.
    Looks like someone opened a toner cartridge.
