Fuel door skin

Decided to get my fuel door going today, ended up going with the kevlar/carbon cloth I had. By tomorrow I should be able to cut all the excess off then sand and buff it flat. Ideally I'd like to have it on the car by Monday.

 

I think we should be best friends cuz you like all things carbon and that's what I like too!!!

Lol sounds like a plan, fuel door is officially trimmed up and edges sanded out. Once i get an over night cure I'll start the sanding process for the rest!

Final coat of resin is on, I'll do another round of sanding tomorrow morning then hit it with the mini buffer and slap it on the car!

All done and on the car, looks really bright because of the garage lighta but all n all very happy with outcome.

With the limited space and mishap with the trunk lid project its on hold for a bit so I'm thinking about maybe offering up doing these for people. Haven't come to a price on anything but I'm more than happy to chat with anyone that is in the market for just a simple cosmetic upgrade.
