    I went to the "search" area of the forum and searched for posts by Ernie and came up with his very interesting story.
    It seems there was a lot of interest in Salt Flats cars around 2010. The 3 liter engine was originally a 3.2 that was de-stroked, which was a curiosity for me. He was mixing and matching parts in a whole new way
    Some of the videos that would have been great to see had the links broken. If there is an easy source for any of these, please let me know.

    Thanks everyone for your thoughts and prayers to the family. He was definitely a great and very kind person. the services where very nice and adequately demonstrated the person being remembered. Like SeanMC stated, there was much talk about the working on the car and BBQ's in front of the family home.
    I to hope the car is allowed to go into the hands of a fellow SHO enthusiast to allow for it to get the record for John.
