DTC CODE C1963

    i plugged my tuner in and it kicked back that code to me i have no warning or check engine lights on was just wondering how serious this as i have cleared the code stability control inhibit warning

    This is for a Fusion, but seems to be a fault with the steering EPAS:

    Any steering issues? The EPAS is known to build rust at/near its' electrical connections.

    C1963: Stability Assist Inhibit Warning
    If conditions or DTCs exist during normal operation that prevent the AdvanceTrac® with RSC® system from operating, DTC C1963 is set. This DTC is usually set due to the steering wheel rotation sensor or the stability control sensor cluster being damaged or installed incorrectly.
