Do you guys ever get together for a beer and to look at each other's SHO's? I live in Tucson (actually Sahuarita). We could meet at Barrio Brewery (on 16th street) some Saturday or Sunday for lunch? Anyone interested?

I've seen a few SHOs around Tucson, but every time I try to talk to an owner they look at me like I'm crazy :)

What year/ color do you drive? I'm wondering if I've seen you around town.

My new SHO is a 1995 Green while my old SHO was a 1995 Red (my son in Kansas has it now). I also drive a red 2011 Mustang, an Orange Trimagnum (3 wheeled vehicle) and a 1983 Honda CX650 motorcycle. I drive all of them to work at the airport.

I don't have an actual SHO anymore, just the engine in my off road car (buggy) and while it is street legal, it would be a bitch to drive it on I-10 down to Tucson. Did you know Jeff from Sahaurita that had the SHO powered buggy? I think he was selling both his spare SHO motors an

I have a friend (Elton Ongley) in Sahuarita who has installed a SHO engine in a 4 person, off road dune buggy. He says it is REALLY fast.

Does Elton go by another name by any chance? EK perhaps? EK put a SHO motor in a Ford Ranger 4X4, took off the body and built a tube cage onto the frame. Added a HEAVY Model A pickup bed to keep the rear tires from spinning so much. Runs an automatic and just keeps it in low range and just uses the SHO's love of high RPMs to wreak havoc on unsuspecting quads and SXS riders on outings.

Yep, Elton is EK. I love going to his place because of all the old ford cars and hot rods parked around his lot. He does machining for my new 3 wheel project (XR3).
