So, the car still has a rake to it with the h&r springs. I thought I read somewhere on here that people are cutting the rears when installing them. Anyone know how much to cut off approximately? Thanks in advance.

Yikes...I hadn't heard anybody doing that. Apologies in advance for being that guy, but cutting progressive springs never works out well.

Not sure if they are freshly installed but springs do settle after awhile. If it's been awhile, maybe ensure they were installed properly. If there is a rake, it should be very, very minimal. How much would you say it is? I would avoid messing with them if I were you, and find an alternative solution if the rake issue is a serious concern for you.

Andrew and I both cut our H&R's. Andrew cut 10.25 inches off. I cut exactly 10 inches.

Wow, that's interesting....didn't know that. And by 10 inches you're not referring to the height of the spring, but the actual coil length, right?

I did that years ago to a Honda Accord, lol....and it just rode like shit...

EDIT: Never mind, the pics answered my question, lol. I responded before they loaded...

To answer your question about cutting springs here is a good video.

I cut my stock springs to level the car. Then when I put my H&R's on, it had rack still. So I cut them.

I may go a little less because I have a sub enclosure in the trunk that may affect the height when done. Thanks for the pic though.
