I noticed a creaking noise coming only from the driver side front suspension when I steer right or left. It is pretty loud and I don't see anything obvious when I inspected it. Looked up past posts and he noises others describe is more of a squeaking type sound. I heard it a little but not much at all before I lowered the car now it is very obvious. Anyone have experience with this?

Creaking noises have always been ball joints on my vehicles. Sounds like an old creaky bed. Given it's happening while turning, it's a good chance it's the ball joint(s).

Check sway bar links also. Turn wheel full in one direction and grab it and have some one saw wheel back and forth slowly ( don't pinch your arm) . Do it for both sides. You will feel if link is rusted and failing.

For me it was sway bar end links. @citysmoke gave the exact process I used to diagnose. Pre-2016 had a very weird design of end link, so the new version is much beefier. They're only $20 each on Tasca, so replace both.
