Welcome! I was just down at Shosource where another long time member was just starting his 3.2 swap on his Black 93 MTX. It would be a good time to refresh that 3.2 if you don't know when the last major 60K servicing was done

Shosource has parts they don't list on their website. When you get close to rebuilding your engine, check with them to see what new parts they have for 3.2 rebuilds.

Nice car, one of my daily drivers is a 92 Silver/Black, looks just like the one in your picture

I could have sworn you were dead....like in 2001.

Joking aside, looks like a fun build. I regret getting rid of my 92, however it is a big reason why I have my 13.

Skip the Accel coil, they're known to be less reliable than the OE coils. Not to mention, the wrong part number is usually listed.

My parts list from shosource without contacting them cause I still need a complete overhaul set( gaskets, head bolts, etc.) I have to purchase a set of rims too. I have no plans to add any nitrous or turbos to the car just build the motor better than stock and tune. Screenshot_20180908-091754_Chrome.jpg

You got a heck of a deal. Are you sure it is a 93? Your interior has the center console and steering wheel from a 92. It's possible it got built that way, that would make it really unique. What does the build date show on the door panel

That clutch cracked my transmission when the TOB failed and a bigass chunk of it got sandwiched underneath the pressure plate. Was installed correctly and fully warranted. They resurfaced the pressure plate. Replaced the disc and sent it back painted. With no TOB had to buy one from the parts store. It ended up breaking the straps. And I never misshifted or anything on it

Numerous others have failed also. I’d go with any other but a southbend.

I also had a piece of the disc break and get stuck in between the disc and pressure plate...

Was it a Stage 2 as well. I have a Stage 1 and was wondering if anyone had an issue with that one
